Scope of Work: The new MSC Headquarters at Block 55 is to house MSC Cargo, MSC Cruises and Explora Journeys. The new, modern offices will encompass approximately 110,000 SF, including a dedicated, 2300 sf welcome lobby on the Ground Level, a secondary entry lobby on the 7th floor, office space throughout the 7th Floor, Common Areas, Hospitality Center, Restrooms, dedicated Elevators, Back of House spaces, storage areas, Server rooms, Cafeteria and Amenity spaces. The project also includes an outdoor breezeway space on the 7th Floor, as well as building exterior improvements, signage and related lighting.

Torx Builders was involved in Pre-Construction Services including but not limited to Coordination with Designers (Architectural, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection, Life Safety and LEED), Coordination and Procurement of Permits through City of Miami Building Department, Coordination with Agencies having Jurisdiction, Estimating, Scheduling, Development of Design Criteria Documents, and Development of Request for Qualifications and Pricing for Pre-Construction Services and Construction Services.

As the Project Manager/Owner Representative for MSC, Torx Builders is managing/overseeing the design, permitting, construction, testing, and commissioning activities. During construction, Torx Builders is providing daily monitoring and reporting of construction progress to ensure compliance with the contract documents and requirements.
